VRE purchased the Hampton Inn & Suites-Tempe in September 2007.  The property is located within miles of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Old Town Scottsdale, ASU and several entertainment districts.  The property has 162 rooms, two pools, and 3,000 sq ft of meeting room space.  Immediately after purchasing the hotel, VRE started a renovation.  Improvements to the property included new landscape, a Jacuzzi, a 750 sq ft patio addition and a guest shuttle van.  The rooms received new bathroom vanities, window treatments, carpet and 27” flat screen TVs.
