Karen joined the company in 2003 and is responsible for accounting, administration, facilities, human resources, member relations, operations management, and technology. She also serves as liaison to the firm’s outside auditors. Previously, Karen worked for one year as the Office Manager for The St. Louis Trust Company, and nineteen years as an Administrative Manager for Arthur Andersen in St. Louis. She started her career at Mark Twain Banks in St. Louis, where she was involved with bank accounting and operations as well as strategic planning. Karen has earned the SPHR certification (Senior Professional in Human Resources), and is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, earning both a B.S.B.A. and M.B.A. degree. She serves as a volunteer with the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis serving on various committees including the Eliot Society and the Reunion Task Force.
